Data we collect

Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
Message content, grant scheme names, and engagement preferences
Technical data such as browser type and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
Cookie preference stored locally in your browser

We do not ask for national identity numbers, full bank credentials, or unrelated sensitive data through the public contact form.

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare fee quotes, perform contracted agricultural grant accounting engagements, improve the website when analytics are allowed, and meet legal obligations under Malaysian law.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months unless a client engagement requires longer retention under the engagement letter. Engagement working papers follow periods stated in that letter. Analytics data, when collected, is retained in aggregate form for up to 14 months.

Your rights

Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and applicable rules, you may request access, correction, or limitation of processing of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact hello@netcognitive.digital to exercise these rights.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in Malaysia. If a processor outside Malaysia is used (for example email hosting), we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
