Refunds & Cancellations
This policy covers deposits, cancellations, and refunds for professional engagements described on this site.
Scope
These rules apply to Agricultural Grant Financial Audit, Grant Program App Analytics, and Compliance Readiness Review engagements booked with NetCognitive Digital. They do not cover physical goods, software licences, or subscription products — we do not sell those.
Deposit
A 40% deposit confirms your engagement start date. The deposit is part payment toward the quoted fee.
Full refund eligibility
You may receive a full refund of the deposit if you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the agreed start date and we have not begun evidence intake or fieldwork.
Partial refund
If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the start date, we retain 50% of the deposit to cover scheduling and preparation, and refund the remainder within 14 business days.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits where cancellation occurs fewer than 7 days before the start date
- Fees for work already performed (scoping beyond the complimentary call, evidence logging, fieldwork days, draft findings already delivered)
- Third-party costs already incurred with your approval (for example travel booked for on-site voucher review)
Work already started
Once evidence intake or fieldwork begins, fees are charged for time spent at the rates in the engagement letter. Unused portions of a fixed project fee may be partially refunded at our discretion after deducting completed work.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 7 days’ notice. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 15% of the engagement fee.
No-shows
If scheduled on-site days are missed without notice, that day is billable and is not refundable.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@netcognitive.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
Cancellations by us
If we must cancel due to conflict of interest or inability to staff the engagement, we refund all amounts paid for undelivered work in full.
